I’m Allex, the proud owner of Shop TRU. It’s great to connect with you! Let me take a moment to share a bit about myself and the journey that led to the creation of Shop TRU.

With a deep-rooted passion for fashion and styling, I embarked on the adventure of creating Shop TRU at the end of 2021. You might find it a bit crazy, but I was right in the middle of nursing school when the idea blossomed! I needed a creative outlet to recharge during that draining time, and thus, Shop TRU was born.

My strong New Mexico roots have always been an integral part of who I am, and I wanted my brand to reflect that. The name TRU, inspired by my last name, felt like the perfect fit. Today, I am a full-time ER nurse, a profession that I absolutely love and find incredibly fulfilling. On my days off, you’ll often find me packing orders or styling photo shoots. With either a coffee mug or a wine glass in hand, I enjoy unwinding by watching reruns of One Tree Hill or Grey’s Anatomy for the thousandth time.

I am genuinely excited to share my passion for fashion with you through Shop TRU. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait for you to explore the unique and stylish pieces that Shop TRU has to offer.
